Project Description
The Shaver Green Apartment project is a 6 story structural steel and concrete structure consisting of 85 affordable housing apartment units. The project is a USGBC LEED Gold certified.  We were responsible for utilizing materials with 20% minimum increased recycled content,  diverting 75% of waste away from landfill, and ensuring a minimum of 20% of construction materials are regionally generated. We also implemented an indoor air quality control system during and after construction.  The project includes some surface parking on the ground floor. Interior finishes include wood cabinets with laminate countertops, carpet in the corridors, unit bedrooms and living areas, vinyl flooring in kitchens and bathrooms.
