Construction is an incredibly intense and collaborative process.  Quality, timeliness, and costs are directly linked to a healthy team dynamic.  Since 1988 we’ve worked hard to establish ourselves as a valuable team player with owners, developers, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and city officials.  Our profile of an Excellent Team player is:

  • Prepared to bring alternative ideas and suggestions to team members

Our highly qualified team has a proven track record of projects success.  A great deal of that success comes from a high level of integrity and personal responsibility.  Our organization doesn’t have levels of bureaucracy.  Instead, we have developed a relational model that drives our expectations for who is responsible for what.

COMPANY HISTORY
In 1985 Rob Yorke founded Yorke Construction with a simple philosophy, to provide clients superb service with integrity exceeding industry standards. In 1988 Dave Curtis came onboard as a partner, and the company became Yorke & Curtis, Inc. Working together, the partners have won respect and trust from owners, developers and architects throughout Oregon and southwestern Washington.

PRINCIPALS
Rob & Dave are responsible for providing leadership to our project team members. They offer creative solutions in overcoming project obstacles; intuitive questions that get to the heart of a challenge; VE solutions that balance quality, schedule, and cost; understanding of material types and overall constructability; and counsel into how to build a project so that it can be properly maintained for maximum longevity.

PROJECT MANAGERS
Our project management team is equipped to provide preliminary estimating, any necessary value engineering, and work with the architect to stay within the design intentions while developing efficient systems within the budgetary goals.  Once the project is up and running they will coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to assure competitive cost, best schedule and delivery for all project related equipment, supply installations, and construction services.
